PCNSA stands for Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator, and according to the official website, it validates the knowledge and skills required for network security administrators responsible for deploying and operating Palo Alto Networks NGFWs.
Resources
I used materials provided by Palo Alto for free (amazing!), namely:
- On-demand Firewall 9.1 Essentials: Configuration and Management course available on a beacon platform
- Official study guide
- Documentation
- Practice exam
Exam
In my opinion exam questions were pretty well aligned with the objectives and most of the questions were covered in the materials that I have used. I had a good experience with the exam - the questions were straightforward. Sometimes in exams provided by different vendors, there are trying to trick you, but luckily that wasn’t the case with PCNSA.
