I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve successfully passed the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) exam! This certification marks a significant milestone in my Kubernetes journey, building upon my previous achievements with the CKA and CKAD certifications.
As I mentioned in my previous post about CKA tips (which are still applicable for CKS), time management is absolutely crucial for success in this exam. The CKS questions are more complex and time-consuming, so it’s essential to prioritize tasks and move quickly through the exam.
Preparation Materials
My preparation for the CKS exam involved a combination of valuable resources:
- CKS Preparation Course by Kim Wuestkamp: Available on YouTube, this free course provided an excellent foundation for understanding Kubernetes security concepts.
- CKS Course by Zeal Vora: This course offered in-depth insights into security practices and helped me grasp complex topics.
- Kodekloud CKS Course
- Killercoda Platform: This platform allowed me to practice different scenarios.
Passing the CKS exam has been a challenging but rewarding experience. It has deepened my understanding of Kubernetes security. For those considering taking the CKS, be prepared for a rigorous exam that will test your knowledge and time management skills to the fullest.
